“Governance Matters - Sharing the Learning”

School governors and trustees are facing multiple challenges in leading Norfolk’s schools and academy trusts. We are not alone!
The National Governance Association’s latest survey found that funding, staff recruitment and the government’s performance on education are the major issues facing all volunteers governing state funded schools.
Join us on 10th November to explore the challenges facing us in Norfolk. Our keynote speakers, sharing their learning and ideas with us will be Dr Louise Smith, Norfolk’s Director of Public Health and Rosemary Lovatt, National leader of Governance.
Across Norfolk there are increasing challenges around social mobility and so there will also be the opportunity to share the learning from the Norwich Oportunity Area which is tackling the challenge of improving life chances of those from disadvantaged backgrounds through the power of education.
This event is free of charge to all Norfolk school governors and trustees.
