Anne Gibson
Chair

Anne is chair of governors at West Earlham Junior School and a trustee of Yare Education Trust. She represents governors and trustees at the Joint Chairs’ Meeting, the Norfolk Learning Board and Education Briefings.

Mike Grimble
Vice Chair

Mike is co-chair at Heigham Community Federation in Norwich and represents governors and trustees on Norfolk Schools Forum, the BMP5 Board and the Finance Consultative Group.

Peter Harwood

Peter is a retired Electronic Design Engineer and a former County Councillor with a leading role in Children’s Services. He has also served as an Independent Foster Panel Chair and is a Governor at Dussindale Primary School and a trustee of Yare Education Trust.

Angie Johnson
Chair of Communications Committee

Angie is on the governing boards of the Blue Sky Federation and the Swallowtail Federation.

Jill Wilson

Jill is Vice-Chair of Governors at Fred Nicholson Special School in Dereham and is Chair of Governors at Mattishall Primary.

Susanne Diana Mason
NGN Treasurer

I am now retired from being a Governor for many years at First, Middle and Primary schools. Past treasurer at all schools PFA’s attended by my children. In business I have always been involved with money management.

Martin White

Martin is a governor for the Nebula Federation, a federation of 6 primary schools to the north of Norwich. He is the Chair of Norfolk Schools Forum where he is one of the primary maintained schools representatives. As part of that role he is a member of the Norfolk Learning Board and the Local Authority Joint Chairs group. Martin is a retired primary school headteacher having worked in Norfolk schools for 46 years.

Callum Perry
Vice Chair

Callum is a lecturer for Inclusive Learning as City College Norwich, teaching SEND learners. He is also Team Leader for Curriculum Services at City College Norwich, responsible for learning support quality and practice. Callum also teaches in higher education and has recently taught on Education Studies, and secured his Associate Fellowship status for HE teaching. Callum’s degree was in Education Studies. He has completed a Masters in Social Science Research Methods and is now completing a PhD in Higher Education Teaching and Learning. Callum was previously a sabbatical officer at uea(su) and was Chair of the Board. In this role, he was also part of wider quality education governance for Office for Students and Quality Assurance Agency UK. It was after leaving this role that Callum decided to take on school governance. Callum is currently Vice-Chair of Governors at Taverham High School, responsible for Safeguarding and Attendance. He is also chair of Standards and Learning at Open Academy and is link governor for SEND and Student Voice. Callum has 6 years of experience, collectively, in school governance and is delighted to join NGN to inform wider county and national governance work.
